![]() Joan E. Eldridge, M.D., FACC Parker - Parker Adventist Hospital
A graduate of the St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1980 and the recipient of the Upjohn Award of Excellence in Medicine, Dr. Joan Eldridge is a twenty-six year veteran in the field of cardiology with a focus on nuclear cardiology imaging. Constantly exploring new ways to treat and monitor heart disease, Dr. Eldridge has researched the impact of new treatment methods on improving patient wellness during her career, which led to her receiving the National Research Service award from 1983-1985. A member of Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates since 1988, she believes that ADCA's willingness to stay on the cutting edge makes it one of the leaders in diagnosis and modern treatment of heart disease in the region. Board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Eldridge has published multiple books, papers, and abstracts concerning heart disease and its effects in addition to lecturing on the unique cardiac issues related to women and heart disease. A member of the Colorado Medical Society and the American Medical Association, Dr. Eldridge has also been appointed to multiple hospitals in the Denver metropolitan area and is currently the Director of Cardiology at Parker Adventist Hospital and the Director of Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
