Dr. Cohen joined Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates
in 1989 and enjoys the team atmosphere of the practice. There are many
times at ADCA, “we often draw on one another’s skills and
knowledge to improve patient care.” Dr. Cohen is Board Certified
in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Cardiac Electrophysiology and is
widely published.
The majority of Dr. Cohen’s early career was in
well-known facilities on the east coast. These hospitals included Georgetown
University, National Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center,
Johns Hopkins University, and the VA Hospital in Washington D.C.
Professional Interests:
Dr. Cohen was involved with the initial studies involving
antitachycardia pacemakers, and in the first implantable defibrillators.
He has participated in multiple pharmacologic trials for antiarrhythmic
drugs and has been performing catheter ablations since 1985.
